A man believed to be in his early 40s has been found dead in a bush at Owuraku, a suburb of Adoagyiri in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality of the Eastern Region.
Eyewitnesses reported that the victim had sustained severe head injuries, with his throat nearly slit, suggesting a brutal attack.
His body was discovered near a football field by residents, who immediately informed local authorities and the police.
Odokwei Damtey, a unit committee member, confirmed the deceased’s identity and called on law enforcement to expedite investigations to apprehend those responsible.
The police have since launched an investigation into the incident, as residents express growing fear and concern over the gruesome killing.
