Former Defence Minister and Member of Parliament for Bimbilla, Dominic Nitiwul, has urged the government to make public the preliminary findings from the investigation into the helicopter crash that killed eight people.

The victims included Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah and Environment Minister Murtala Muhammed.

The tragic crash occurred on August 6, 2025, and has since been under official investigation.

Speaking to journalists, Mr. Nitiwul emphasised the importance of transparency, saying that Ghanaians deserve to be informed about the initial outcomes of the probe.

“It will take some time to complete the full investigation but the initial findings should have been shared with the public. People are anxious, and releasing those details would help calm nerves,” he noted.
