The Kumawood industry has been plunged into mourning following the death of a colleague, Patrick Sarfo.
The actor cum pastor was also a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Youth Ghana.
Announcing his death, a Facebook user, Lillian Sally Addo, wrote an emotional tribute in honour of the deceased.
Mr. Sarfo starred in several movies, but his feature in ‘Official Prostitute’ shot him into the limelight.
The cause of death is unknown, but according to a report, he drowned in a pool on Saturday, June 4.
In a post wishing the late actor farewell, Ghanaian blogger Osei Kwabena wrote, “Rev. Patrick Safo, a Kumawood actor, and clergyman have died.

The late actor was the founder of Holy Palace Chapel International. He was also a business owner and the co-founder of Lisaldo Creations, and the CEO of SAFO’s Empire Production.
