Government has urged the Governing Council at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to rescind their decision of converting Katanga hall to a mixed one.
According to a release by the Education Ministry on behalf of government, the governing council of KNUST must consider the several views of dissent expressed by several students on the issue.
A statement by Education Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh reads in part, “While the running of the university is the sole preserve of the university’s council, it is important they consider other views regarding the conversion.”
