Abdulai Gazale has parted ways with Ghana Premier League side Basake Holy Stars after just one season.
Reports indicate that Gazale’s decision is motivated by a potential opportunity to be appointed as the assistant coach for Hearts of Oak.
He prefers to work alongside his mentor, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, who has taken over as the head coach of Hearts.
Gazale has gained valuable experience, having previously served as a youth coach for Asante Kotoko and then as their interim head coach during the 2020/21 season.
In August 2024, he signed a three-year contract to manage Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana top-flight.
Aside coaching at the club level, Gazale is also a Physical Education tutor at TI Ahmadiyyah Senior High School in Kumasi.
