NBA legend Carmelo Anthony has called on Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant to turn a negative situation he is going through with the organization into a positive one.
He made this call as a pundit while addressing the strained relationship between Morant and the Grizzlies that has had Morant suspended for a game conduct detrimental to the team.
Morant said he had lost all joy after a loss and directed the media to ask the team’s coaches why it was so. He returned from the suspension to register 18 points and 10 assists in Memphis’ 114-106 loss to the Detroit Pistons.
Speaking on the issue as a pundit on NBC, Anthony indicated that Morant’s relationship with the team was being tested and made a plea to the athletic guard to not fold.
“He’s been through all of this before. This isn’t something new.”

“You’re being tested again to see if you’re going to fold or if you’re going to stand the test of time” Anthony said.

Morant is averaging 20.4 points and 7.1 assists but the recent development has made him a trade target.
