Ghanaian musician Wendy Asiamah Addo, popularly known as Wendy Shay, has opposed using her money to undergo BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift).
Although she has no problem with people who have BBL, she prefers to donate her money rather than use it for BBL.
Speaking in an interview on 3Music on July 23, 2025, Wendy stressed that BBL is a personal choice and encouraged women who wish to do that to proceed.
“It’s no offence to people who have BBL. If you want to have BBL, that’s your choice. But personally, I would have used that money to donate to people,” she said.
The Too Late hitmaker added that she’s in the music industry to sell her music and not her body, hence she doesn’t need BBL to look good.
“I don’t need it and like I said, I don’t even see the craze about it because when you die, it’s food for the maggots. That’s why I don’t focus on that. I’m here for music; I’m here to sell music and not my body.”
The singer on July 10, 2025 addressed claims that she had plastic surgery to improve her appearance.
“I’ve got it since! Clearly, humans will always have something to say. It’s either your booty is too big, too small, or too fake. Mind your business! Africa, Wake Up!” Wendy Shay wrote.
