The Tema High Court has dismissed an application by former fetish priestess, now turned evangelist, Nana Agradaa, to throw out a GHC20 million defamation suit filed by gospel musician Empress Gifty.

In a ruling on Thursday, 26 June 2025, the court held that Agradaa had a case to answer and ordered her to pay GHC6,000 in costs to the singer.

The lawsuit follows accusations by the self-acclaimed televangelist that Empress Gifty was involved in multiple affairs to fund her lavish lifestyle.
