Netizens react as Shatta Wale criticizes Kwadwo Sheldon in ‘diss’ song ‘Fame’

Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has intensified his online feud with Kwadwo Sheldon by releasing a fresh attack at the content creator in a ‘diss’ track titled ‘Fame.’

The online trade of words began after Kwadwo Sheldon posted a video showing his apartment flooded due to the heavy downpour on May 18, 2025.

In a series of posts after the incident, Shatta Wale shared his sympathy for Sheldon and offered to help the YouTuber in any way he could.

However, Sheldon replied via X, expressing his disapproval and declaring that he doesn’t need any assistance from the musician.

This led to a back-and-forth between the two, and Shatta Wale called Sheldon a “stubborn, proud man” for turning down his offer of assistance.

Sheldon also criticised Shatta Wale in one of his videos on YouTube.

In the latest development, Shatta Wale has released a track titled “Fame”, in which he has launched a fresh round of attacks at Kwadwo Sheldon.

In the song, Shatta described Sheldon as an attention seeker.

 

Since then, the song has generated a range of responses on the internet. Many internet users have called it irrelevant and questioned why Shatta Wale is dedicating much time and effort to arguing with Sheldon.

Sheldon has been criticised by others for responding harshly to what they perceive to be a well-meaning offer of assistance.

Sheldon has also reacted to the song by laughing over it, believing it as unnecessary.
