After the game against Madagascar, the Black Stars will travel to Moroni to face Comoros in the second game of the qualifiers.
The former Premier League manager is fully focused and is aiming to commence the World Cup qualifications on a good note. Hughton wants to fire a strong warning to Ghana’s group opponents with a resounding win at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Irish-Ghanaian has come under intense pressure following the Black Stars’ humiliating results during the October international break.
Ghana succumbed to a 2-0 defeat against Mexico before their heavy defeat to the United States of America during the October international break.
The Black Stars are competing in Group I alongside West African giants Mali, Madagascar, Comoros, Central African Republic, and minnows Chad.
It’s noteworthy that the winner of the group will secure automatic qualification to the 2026 World Cup to be co-hosted by USA, Canada and Mexico.
