Three Ampem Darkoa Ladies players, Comfort Yeboah, Abena Opoku Anomah and Tracey Twum have been included in the best eleven of the group stage of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The trio were recognized for their outstanding performance for the Ghana Women’s Premier League champions.
Comfort Yeboah, who inspired her outfit to victory in their opening game against AS FAR together with defender Abena Opoku and forward Tracey Twum have all made the cut.
Tracey Twum was instrumental when Ampem Darkoa Ladies secured qualification to the semifinals. She netted a brace against Huracanes to propel her outfit to make the semifinal spot.
Sundowns trio Andile Dlamini, Refilwe Tholakele and Joyce Rebale join them. Oumou Kone of AS Mande and Meryem Hajri also made the squad alongside AS FAR trio Zineb Ridouani, Ghizlane Chebak and Fatima Tagnouat.
Ampem Darkoa will face Moroccan side Sporting Club Casablanca for a place in the final against the winner of the match between Mamelodi Sundowns and AS FAR.
