2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Black Stars officially open camp for Madagascar and Comoros games

The senior national team, the Black Stars have officially opened camp today, Monday, November 13 for their 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The players invited for the games are expected to report to their base as they prepare for the games.

Chris Hughton, who is the head coach of the side has invited a 25-man squad for the first Group I games of the qualifiers.

The team is expected to hold their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium later this evening and on Tuesday before they leave for Kumasi on Wednesday, November 15.

Ghana will host Madagascar in their first game of the qualifiers at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, November 17 with kick-off scheduled at 16:00GMT.

On Tuesday, November 21, the Black Stars will be hosted by Comoros at the Stade de Moroni in the second group game.

Having suffered back-to-back defeats in the October international friendly games, the Black Stars will hope to make a strong start into the World Cup qualifiers.
