Recall that in 2021, a woman and her son became internet sensations after a video showed the little boy on his knees frantically begging his mother after offending her.
In the video, the little boy was seen crying and begging his mother to “Be calming down and rest a little”.
However, on Tuesday(November 7), a user on X (Twitter) disclosed that the said woman by name Toluige Olokobi Babalola, has died in a suspected suicide incident in Benin, Edo State, in Nigeria for unknown reasons.
Reports of her death has been a major conversation in Nigeria presently.
Nigeria’s Vanguard News reports that the deceased’s husband named Lawal is currently under investigations for providing inconsistent stories to the police.
It is said that what Lawal told the Police about her purported suicide contradicts what the neighbours narrated.
One of the points of disagreement is the rope with which she reportedly committed suicide with.
