The museum emphasizes solid attainments in areas such as visual arts, literature, film, music, architecture, philosophy, humanities, science and technology, social sciences and more.
Prof. Akosa described Kwaw Ansah as an African through and through who always had useful insights about the continent and that he dearly cherished him.
“I can without any equivocation state that I don’t believe there’s anywhere in this country where one individual has done what Kwaw Ansah has done by way of the Bisa Aberwa Museum. He needs to be congratulated by the whole country,” Prof. Akosa stated.
Kwaw Ansah thanked the management of Ghana Club after receiving his citation from Prof Akosa. He pointed out that it was incumbent on every African to tell the positive stories of the continent to the world at all times.
Another filmmaker, King Ampaw, also received a citation from Ghana Club for his contribution to the advancement of cinema in this country.
Both him and Kwaw Ansah are members of the Club.
