In a daring move that has further complicated the process of the impending 2023 GFA Elections, Alhaji Grusah, the influential bankroller of King Faisal, has asserted that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) lacks the authority to stipulate a date for the Elective Congress.
This declaration comes in the wake of Grusah’s recent legal maneuver, where he secured an injunction against the electoral process.
Despite this legal intervention, the GFA proceeded to unveil a new date for the Elective Congress, signalling a potential showdown on the horizon.
“Today when we went it has been moved to 28th of this month I will ask my lawyer if we can go for contempt I will go they don’t have the right,” he told Peace FM in an interview
“Our elections the clubs one, the FA doesn’t have the locus to do this election they can’t do it. They are not the ones to do it the clubs has to do it on their own,” he added.
