The sad death of Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artist Mustapha Rahman, known in showbiz as Rudebwoy Ranking, on Monday, April 24, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra was a shock, especially to industry players.
The actual cause of his death is unknown, but sources have revealed that the artiste was unwell.
After his demise, artists within the entertainment industry, like Grammy-winning Jamaican reggae band Morgan Heritage, rapper Eno Barony, Epixode and others, have expressed their grief.
In a tweet by Morgan Heritage on April 25, the group said they had the chance to feature Rudebwoy Ranking in one of their videos shot in Ghana about a year ago. They believe the career of the young talented artiste has ended too early, but in all, “may his soul rest in peace”.

Eno Barony, on Tuesday morning, also mourned with the bereaved family and friends by sharing a message of condolence on her Twitter page, hoping that his gentle soul rests in the bosom of the Lord.

Likewise, Ghanaian reggae dancehall artiste Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, known as Epixode, shared a short message to mourn Rudebwoy Ranking on his Twitter page, wishing him a peaceful rest.
