A businessman, Ernest Kwaku Kobeah, has said he is not here for the future, I am here for now as he picked his nomination forms to contest for the flagbearer race of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2024 elections.
“I am here to stand and build the new Ghana, I am not here for the future, I am here for now,” he said
The UK-based businessman picked up his forms on Wednesday, February 22 in Accra.
Mr. Kobeah said he is confident that he will emerge victorious in the flagbearer race which the NDC has scheduled for the 13th of May, 2023
According to Mr. Kobeah, his youthful exuberance and experience in the area of domestic policy and development orientation are unmatched by other presidential aspirants.
The businessman will be contesting against Former President John Dramani Mahama, former Kumasi Mayor, Kojo Bonsu, and former Finance Minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor.
He added that voting for Former President Mahama will alter the character of the eight-year cycle of power rotation to favor the NPP since he is entitled to only four years to rule.
Also, the NDC Campaign Manager, Professor Joshua Alabi, today led a delegation to pick the forms for former President John Mahama.
