Deloris Frimpong Manso popularly known as Delay has alleged that she ordered a flower for herself on Valentine’s Day to celebrate the special day of love.
The television host who doubles as an entrepreneur encouraged single ladies never to feel lonely on Valentine’s Day as they can celebrate the day lavishly without any sponsorship from a second party.
According to Delay, “being single—not married or without a partner—should not make the romantic event boring”.
Delay as most celebrities were displaying their partners on social media on Valentine’s Day noted that she is proud to be a single lady and has a passion for motivating singles to always stay strong and happy.
In an Instagram post she made on February 14, 2023, the presenter said she has ordered a flower and a note with the inscription “From Deloris to Deloris,” stressing that she loves herself and wouldn’t wait for anyone to make her happy.
In her words; “Those who are single, and those who are not married we have created a WhatsApp group and I am the admin. We are single and we have accepted it. It doesn’t mean that we won’t observe Vals Day. I have ordered flowers for myself with a note attached to it that reads From Deloris to Deloris’. because I love myself. If I don’t love myself, who will love me? You also need to love yourself, so that on Vals Day, you’ll order chocolates, cakes, or even shoes for yourself. Pamper yourself. As for me, I am self-pampered.”
