(Video) Ebony’s Father Overwhelmed With Grief At Osu Cemetery On Fifth-Year Remembrance

Nana Opoku Kwarteng, the father of late dancehall musician Ebony, could not control his emotions as he visited his daughter’s grave to mark the fifth year since she died.

The father wept bitterly and started shivering as he muttered inaudible words followed by hand gestures.

The late musician’s mother and brother were seen in the viral video consoling Mr Kwarteng as he mourned his beloved daughter.

The family laid wreaths and offered prayers for the late artiste at the Osu cemetery.

Ebony died in an accident that occurred on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway on February 8, 2018.

Mr Kwarteng, popularly known as Starboy Kwarteng, was an encouragement to her daughter during her music career.

Starboy featured in Ebony’s music video for her hit single ‘Sponsor’ and acted as a ‘Sugar Daddy’ in the music video, portraying how adult men lavish gifts and dole out huge sums of money to young girls.

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, Ghanaians took to social media to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Ebony Reigns after her painful demise.
