Kuami Eugene opens up about his greatest fear

Eugene Kwame Marfo, popularly known in the showbiz industry as Kuami Eugene, says nothing scares him more than waking up in the morning and finding himself at the mall or any public gathering without anyone hailing him the ‘Rockstar’, a brand he has fought for.

The young musician explained that anytime a musician fades out of the system, it looks very embarrassing as you lose some honour and become like any other person compared to a celebrity.

“My greatest fear is to wake up one morning and realise I’m not this rockstar. Imagine I wake up and go to the mall, and nobody says ‘Rockstar.’ I would ask myself if I didn’t sleep well. I mean, I get people asking me, don’t you get tired when people are on your leg everywhere? You don’t get to come to stand in a queue like us anymore? I tell them it’s my job. “Do you think I’d rather get by without being recognised like you?” he quizzed during an interview on Joy FM.
