The former deputy general secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has said he is excited the newly elected chairman of the party Asiedu Nketiah is enjoying his new position.
Nketiah, who until this latest election had served as the general secretary of the party for the past 17 years, received 5,569 votes (65.17% of the vote), as against his main contender, the immediate past chairman of the party, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, who garnered 2,892 votes (33.81%).
But in a tweet, Anyidoho warned that those who elected Nketiah will soon cry.
“Oyiwa! The man has become chairman and leader per the NDC Constitution, and he is wasting no time at all in chopping the post “waa waa waa”. I am very excited that he is chopping the post. The people who put him there will cry “bor bor li bor bor”. I am enjoying my Xmas.”
“I want to ask Chairman Asiedu Nketiah a simple question: pls sir, per the constitution of the NDC are you or are you not the current LEADER of the NDC? Respectfully sir, the nation and the world is waiting for your simple ‘yes or no’ answer. Merry Christmas sir,” Anyidoho tweeted.
Anyidoho added: “Mosquito, national chairman and leader of the NDC “Di wu hene”.
