Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is expected to name his final 26-man squad for the World Cup this Friday, November 11, 2022.
The Ghana FA recently released a provisional squad of 55 players who are being monitored. The final list is expected to be presented by the technical team led by coach Addo.
The 48-year-old gaffer, who doubles as a trainer scout at Dortmund, is also expected to be released by the German club after their league fixture this weekend.
The confirmed squad for the World Cup will hold a pre-World Cup training tour in Abu Dhabi, where they will face Switzerland in their last friendly to prepare themselves adequately for the global showpiece.
Ghana is placed in Group H and will face 2016 European champions Portugal in their opening fixture of the Mundial come November 24 at the host capital, Doha.
The Black Stars are returning to the tournament after missing out on the last edition in 2018, which Russia hosted.
