A driver with the Ghana National Ambulance Service, Mahama Imoro Luckey, has allegedly been killed by a mentally challenged man at Bole in the Savannah Region.
He was suspected to have been hit on the head with a cement block by his attacker around the Bole LA Primary School.
According to eyewitnesses, Luckey was making a call in the school, close to where the suspect sleeps when he allegedly attacked him and fled the area.
A passerby who found the victim in a pool of blood quickly called the attention of others, who rushed him to the Bole District Hospital.
He was pronounced dead on arrival.
This has thrown the victim’s family and members of the Bole community into a state of shock and mourning.
A family member of the deceased described Imoro as “a peace-loving person and had no issue with anyone, so to have been killed in this manner is wickedness” while confirming the incident to the media.
“Allah will punish the person who committed this act,” he lamented.
This adds up to a number of similar mysterious deaths reported since the beginning of the year.
According to eyewitnesses, the victim was a pillion rider on a passing motorbike who tried to stop the woman from terrorizing other road users.
She was said to have been pelting stones at passing vehicles since the early hours of Monday and even broke the windshields of four of them.
An eyewitness who spoke to the media said that the woman pulled the victim down from the motorbike and smashed his head with a huge stone.
“The man died before passersby arrived at the scene,” the eyewitness added.
