Italian Serie B side Cagliari is the latest club to join the Pursuit of Ghana international Felix Afena-Gyan.
The 19-year-old who earned promotion to the Roma senior team last season has become a subject of interest for several clubs including Serie A side Sassuolo and Salernitana.
But Footballghana.com has learnt Cagliari is considering signing Afena-Gyan this summer.
The Ghanaian forward has been struggling for playing time and would welcome a move away from Jose Mourinho’s outfit this window.
Roma is determined to sign Andrea Belotti, and if he does, Afena- Gyan’s playing time will be significantly reduced.
Afena-Gyan was unused by Mourinho in Roma’s first game of the season which they won 1-0 against Salernitana.
The enterprising forward burst into the scenes in November 2021 after scoring a brace in Roma win over Genoa.
