Ghana’s Alex Amankwah has booked a spot in the semifinals of the men’s 800m race at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The Ghanaian sprinter clocked in at a time of 1:43:56 to sail through to the next phase of the contest.
Overall he finished 6th after all the heats were completed.
