Hudson-Odoi to complete Ghana switch by October before World Cup

Chelsea forward, Callum Hudson-Odoi will have to wait until October before he will become eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.

According to information gathered, the talented winger has accepted to switch from England to play for Ghana.

Sources say the Ghana FA is currently leading the process for the forward to secure the needed documentation.

The 21-year-old is unable to make the switch anytime soon because he already has three caps for the Three Lions of England.

The new rules state that; “At the time of being fielded for their last match in an official competition in any kind of football for their current association, they had not turned 21 years old.

“Was fielded in no more than three matches at “A” international level in any kind of football for their current association, whether in an official competition or non-official competition.

“At least three years have passed since being fielded for their last match at “A” international level in any kind of football for their current association, whether in an official competition or non-official competition.”

The Ghana FA is happy to wait for the next few months to pass to have the player complete the process.
