FIFA U17WWCQ: Baba Nuhu names Black Maidens squad for Guinea trip

Black Maidens head coach, Baba Nuhu has named a squad list of 22 players for their trip to Conakry, Guinea for the third round fixture of the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup, India 2022 Qualifiers.

Notable names that made the squad were captain Georgina Aoyem and forward, Mary Amponsah, from Women’s Premier League Northern Zone Leaders, Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Success Ameyaa from the Southern Zone’s league leaders, Hasaacas Ladies.

Baba Nuhu’s side advanced to this stage with a 4:0 aggregate win over Senegal last Month and hopes to replicate another success story in the third round.

The Black Maidens would take on Guinea on Saturday, April 16 at the Stade Général Lansana Conté de Congo Conakry, Guinea with the reverse fixture scheduled for the Cape Coast stadium on April 30.
