Pearlpia Ladies midfielder, Barikisu Abdul-Rahman has been named NASCO Player of the Month for February and March in the ongoing 2021/22 Women’s Premier League.
The midfielder has been outstanding for her team since returning from surgery a few months ago.
Her performance earned her the enviable most valuable player of the match three times in a row and a goal during the period under review.
Barikisu suffered a cruciate ligament injury while on national duty with the Black Princesses in Cape Coast, and underwent surgery with the assistance of the Ghana Football Association’s newly established medical fund.
She defeated Berry Ladies’ Philomena Abakah and Veronica Appiah, as well as Hasaacas Ladies’ Doreen Copson for the crown.
Barikisu is expected to recieve a 32-inch NASCO TV set.
