Alhaji Grusah fumes at Nana Yaw Amponsah over ‘begging for points’ comment

Bankroller of King Faisal FC, Alhaji Grusah has angrily hit back at Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah for stating his team begged for points last season.

The ‘Insha Allah’ outfit have been outstanding in the ongoing season having beaten their regional rivals Asante Kotoko on two occasions so far this season

Earlier, Nana Yaw Amponsah made some wild comments about King Faisal, disclosing they were at a point, pleading for points from clubs before they could secure survival last season and it is good they ain’t replicating the same thing this season.

Speaking to Ghanasportspage, the veteran football administrator tells him to respect his chairman which is the most important thing. He added by saying his side will beat Kotoko when they meet again.

“We begged for points from who? This is not a problem. I have defeated his club. He should give his chairman respect, that’s all.”

“Begging for points or not…is our own matter. We are playing league. We haven’t ended up with them. We will beat them again and he will see what is going on.”

“God willing we will beat them again. Not only this season we have beaten Kotoko front and back, go to the history book. I don’t think about Kotoko but am thinking about the rest of the matches and the second round.”

King Faisal will travel to Techiman to take on Eleven Wonders this weekend in week 12 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
