King Faisal reclaimed the top spot of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon following an important 1-0 win over struggling Elmina Sharks.

The team from Kumasi first grabbed the top spot of the league table last weekend when the team defeated rivals Asante Kotoko 3-2 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Following Aduana Stars’ win against Great Olympics yesterday, the team leapfrogged King Faisal to the summit of the table pending their game against Elmina Sharks.
