Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko have announced a 31-man squad for the 2021/2022 football season.
The Porcupine Warriors, who were runner up in the last league season have officially released its squad list for their 2021/22 season’s campaign made up of four goalkeepers, seven attackers, ten midfielders and ten defenders where five members are under the age of 19.
The Kumasi based club after losing out on both the league and MTN FA Cup has seen major changes with as many as 16 new players joining to strengthen the team and also the arrival of new head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as they wish to make amends in the upcoming season.
The club also had one of the best pre-season in recent times because not only did the club travel to Dubai, UAE for a 2 weeks training tour but the team had the chance to play friendly matches against tough foreign oppositions as well.
Asante Kotoko’s first game of the season is a trip to Dawu to face Dreams FC on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
