Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been forced to withdraw from the Netherlands squad for the European Championship.
The 24-year-old, who is currently nursing an injury, won’t be fit to represent his country in the big event.
This was contained in a statement that indicated that coach Frank de Boer would not be naming a replacement.

Van de Beek was on the bench for the recent 2-2 friendly draw with Scotland but had not been working with the main group in training.
The Netherlands will play all three Group C games in Amsterdam, facing Ukraine, Austria and North Macedonia.
The tournament starts on Friday, June 11, when Turkey take on Italy.
